Chaune King's career has led to many award nominations, such as Entertainer of the Year nominee in 2006 and 2007, and The Camden Unsung Music Hero Award nominee in 2011. Highlights for Chaune King thus far were winning the BLGBT Community Leader Of the Year Award in 2008 and having his music featured in the Hit American TV series The L-Word.



Chaune King lost his voice a little over three years ago and he was devastated, but without a voice, he continued writing music focusing on a comeback. He returned to the scene showcasing his acting skills which led to him being featured in Campbell Blackman's hit film "Stud Life", which was the start of his journey.
